Caleb Lindskoog and Joan Tick offer an intimate take on psych folk. Joan sings moody songs inspired by intuition, childhood memories, and the complex spaces taken up by outsiders. Originally from Las Vegas, the couple began making music in Brooklyn under the name Treasure and self-released their first collection of songs, Tea Parties, in 2008. Their follow-up album, Fiend (2013), brought with it a delve into soundscapes spanning both whimsy and despair, delivered through the back and forth calls of piano, guitar, and synths.
